Job Title: Marketing & Event Coordinator
Location: Bradford, OH
Position Type: Part time (10-20 hours per week)
Reports to: Tasting Room Manager / Owner
Position Overview
Marketing/Event Coordinator’s responsibilities revolve around organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms, and for the organization and execution of events. The Marketing/Event Coordinator should be extremely organized and can coordinate multiple projects at the same time while maintaining a professional attitude.

Essential Job Duties

Social Media Management
-
Assists in managing company social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content for social media
-
Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites/social media, and encourages audience participation

Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with our established and reputable brand and social media strategy

Developing new social media strategies and campaigns; working with owner to elevate and ensure relevancy in the ever-competitive world of social media marketing
-
Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising

Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns

Organizes and files all photos, videos, and content created
-
Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers and manages email list

Manages social media communications as directed
-
Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules when necessary

Event Coordination and Relationships

Does research to identify event opportunities and generate interest

Monitor competitors’ events and other events in the area
-
Stay on top of other’s events, new trends, technology, and regulations
-
Assists in communicating with local vendors to book music, food, and crafts for events
-
Respond to phone, email, and in person inquiries
-
Create, coordinate, and execute event set up and recovery task lists
-
Execute the venue set up for onsite events, to include moving tables and chairs according to floor plans
-
Track, measure, and report the results of events in a timely manner
-
Manage the events calendar and send weekly event update reports
-

Additional duties
-
Assist the tasting room and other winery departments during large events, busy weekends, and as needed.

Perform opening and closing duties in the tasting room when needed.

Assists in managing all details of planning and executing an event

Experience/Skills/Working Conditions
-
Must be at least 21 years of age, and able to work around alcohol in a responsible manner.
-
The position will require approximately 10-25 hours per week

High School diploma or Equivalent required
-
College degree in marketing/business management a plus
-
Proficiency with Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, and Tik-tok) required.

Knowledge of photography and video editing
-
Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop/illustrator, Adobe Spark/Canva, Wix, and Square POS.·

Craft beverage industry knowledge a plus

Genuine enthusiasm for craft beverages sector and our consumers

Must possess the ability to stay up to date with craft beverage trends and events

Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Friendly, positive, and professional disposition when dealing with guests, vendors, and team members.

Highly organized and energetic with Strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, follow-up, and work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

Pro-active and thorough in completing existing tasks and pursuing new assignments.

Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.

Must be able to work safely and be safety conscious, follow and enforce all written & verbal SOP’s (Standard Operational Procedures) as well as enforce and adhere to safe practices.

Must be able to follow all food safety guidelines and winery SOPs
-
Recognize the symptoms of intoxication and handle the situation as required by Ohio law and house policy.

Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines
-
Must hold a valid driver's license. Occasional work-related travel may be a possibility.

Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of up to 40 pounds at varying frequencies.

Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks.

Ability to operate various types of hardware to include, but not limited to, lift trucks, hand trucks, dishwashers etc.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Successful completion of background check and pre-hire drug testing.
