Taptender/Bartender 
Job Title: Tap Room Attendant
Location: Bradford, OH
Position Type: Part time, Fridays & Saturdays
Reports to: Tap Room Manager / Owner
Position Overview

We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join us as a Bartender/Taptender at our location in Bradford, OH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing an unforgettable tasting experience to our patrons. If you have a love for craft beverages, excellent interpersonal skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! We are looking to hire and get additional staff trained in time for our busy spring/summer season.

Essential Job Duties

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our craft hard ciders and wines and be able to describe flavor profiles effectively to patrons.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patrons through our hard cider and wine selections, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

  • Tasting Room Operations: Operate our point of sale system, manage the cash drawer, pour and serve drinks with precision, maintain cleanliness in the tasting room, and uphold quality standards.

  • Education and Engagement: Share your enthusiasm for craft beverages through engaging conversations and experiences for visitors.

  • Sales: Upsell merchandise, growler fills/cans/bottles while actively promoting our cider club, special releases, and events.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Experience/Skills/Working Conditions

  • Availability to work most Fridays between 4PM-10PM and/or Saturdays between 11AM-9PM. Occasionally, there may be additional days or hours available to help support special events or production needs.

  • Passion for craft beverages and a desire to share that passion with others.

  • Previous bartending, brewery, winery/cidery experience preferred, but customer service, retail, and food service industry workers are encouraged to apply!

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of people.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be at least 21 years old

Compensation

  • $13/hr starting rate plus tips
